Option 1: Continuous Membership
The path of steady practice and dojo support.
The Concept: A fixed, ongoing monthly contribution that remains active year-round, regardless of attendance.
The Benefit: Participants enjoy our lowest preferred rate in exchange for their consistent commitment.
Dojo Support: This tier is designed for dedicated practitioners whose steady contributions provide the essential foundation that keeps the dojo’s doors open and the mats ready for everyone.
Policy: Payments are automated and are not paused for travel, illness, or short-term breaks.
Option 2: Flexible Month-to-Month
Training that adapts to your busy lifestyle.
The Concept: A month-at-a-time payment structure that grants full access to classes without a long-term bridge.
The Benefit: Total freedom to "pause" your training at any time. If you know you’ll be away for a month or two, you simply don't renew for that period.
Premium Access: Because this option allows for fluctuating attendance and does not provide the dojo with predictable monthly support, it carries a higher monthly premium.
Policy: Pay only for the months you intend to step onto the mat; no charges occur during your months away.

Additional family member discount: 20%
- First family member pays regular rate
- Each additional family member receives 20% discount
- Applies only when fees are paid on time (fees are due before the start of the month/term)
Post-secondary full-time student discount: 30%
Volunteer commitment (per participant, per year)
- 1 full casino shift
- 2 half casino shifts
- 12 hours of dojo-organized community-based volunteering
Beginner's Specials
- When Beginner's Special terms end, participants are automatically transitioned to the monthly recurring payment plan.
- If a pause is required during a monthly recurring payment plan (a suspension of the payment of fees), 4 months of fees (without commitment) are required to be paid before the monthly recurring payment plan can be reinstated.
Refund/Cancellation Policy
Continuous Membership
- We require 1 month's notice to cancel Continuous Membership payments.
Flexible Month-to-Month
- Refunds requested up to one week prior to the start of the month - full refund (minus $25 admin fee).
- Refunds requested within 7 days of the start of the month or after the start of the month - refund provided for medical reasons only, doctor's note required. Refund amount is prorated based upon the number of classes remaining in the month (minus $25 admin fee).
- Refunds requested up to one week prior to the start of the term - full refund (minus $25 admin fee).
- Refunds requested within 7 days of the start of the term or after the start of the term - refund provided for medical reasons only, doctor's note required. Refund amount is prorated based upon the number of classes remaining in the term (minus $25 admin fee).
- Uniform must be returned in new condition for Beginner's Specials refund. Otherwise full cost of the uniform is deducted from the refund amount.
- Refunds requested with NO practices attended - full refund (minus $25 admin fee).
- Refunds requested with 1 or more practices attended - refund provided for medical reasons only, doctor's note required. Refund amount is prorated based upon the number of practices remaining in the pass (minus $25 admin fee).
